WORKING on a song with one of his favourite musicians has filled him with immense joy.
Gospel singer Sibusiso Nzima recently entered the studio with Ihhashi Elimhlophe, fulfilling a dream he's harboured for seven years.
In March, they unveiled the song titled Amahubo, and the 40-year-old from Witbank, Mpumalanga, shared his excitement with Daily Sun about the track and his forthcoming album.
"I reached out to him in 2017, but then, we weren't discussing any collaboration. After sharing my admiration and the desire to record a song with him, our dream collaboration has now, seven years later, become a reality. We met and entered the studio. Judah Ngwenya produced the single.
"It's a unique blend of maskandi and contemporary sounds, a combination that's never been attempted before. We named it Amahubo because it features me singing Psalms 103, while baba Ihhashi Elimhlophe covers Psalms 23, and the chorus also draws from the Bible. It's our way of giving thanks to God," he explained.

Sibusiso expressed how much he has learned from the award-winning maskandi singer.
"Working with him felt like a dream come true. He's humble and grounded. Collaborating with him is effortless, thanks to his creativity. Given the positive reception to our song, people suggest we create an album together."
The singer also revealed his plans for a live DVD recording at the Grace Bible Church in Pimville, Soweto.
"The recording will take place in the church's main auditorium. I'll be performing alongside the Grace Bible Church Youth Choir in a song called …Unltd, featuring Xolly Mncwango, Fafa Segoneco, Siyanqoba Mthethwa, Rorisang Thandekiso, and others.
"I was drawn to the Youth Choir's passion for Christ and their remarkable voices. People can expect a transformative experience. They'll feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, witness lives changing, and leave inspired," Sibusiso concluded.
