Walk around any trendy neighborhood in the world right now, check out people’s footwear, and you’ll likely see one brand more than any other: Adidas. Over the last several years, some of Adidas’ classic silhouettes — like the Stan Smith, Samba, and Gazelle — have seen a huge surge in popularity. Of course, Adidas has always been a go-to for classic sneakers, but, lately, it seems like the sportswear giant has climbed to new heights.

We here at RS Recommends count ourselves among Adidas’ many die-hard fans. We all own at least several things from the three-stripe brand — from workout clothing and basketball shoes to fashion sneakers and running shoes. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the best Adidas products in our closets that you can pick up right now.

The Best Adidas Products to Buy Right Now

1. Adidas Spezial Sneakers

Jessica Seib

I own several different pairs of Adidas lifestyle sneakers. They’re all great for pairing with everyday outfits but I find the Spezials to be most comfortable for everyday wear. They have a slightly more prominent arch support than most other flat shoes in the Adidas family and, in my experience, maintain their shape the best with long-term use. I see this silhouette less often than the more popular Gazelles or Sambas, so they’re great for someone looking for a more unique everyday Adidas shoe. Highly recommend. — Jessica Seib, VP Commerce

2. Adidas x Farm Rio Training Tank Top

Adidas

I’m in no way a minimalist in any part of my life, but I’m particularly bored with the drab, neutral-toned workout sets that seem to be everywhere lately. Are my only choices really a “clean girl”-tok beige top or old reliable, an oversized ski club t-shirt I’ve worn to the gym since high school? The moment I spotted this Adidas training tank top at the mall it was like a breath of fresh, tropical air — inspired by Brazilian beach culture, this collab with Farm Rio has kaleidoscope patterns that make me want to actually show off my gym fit and not cover up. The fabric is super lightweight without feeling too sheer, and the material has kept me dry through everything from sun salutations to treadmill sprints. The floral design is chic and unique enough that it doesn’t “look” athletic, and I’ve even paired these with a cute pair of bike shorts or tossed under some overalls to go to brunch. — Sage Anderson, Commerce Editor

3. Adidas Samba

Jasmin Sandal

It’s true, I’m guilty of hopping on the Samba hype train. There have been a number of occasions where I’ve had to stop myself from making several purchases, and instead just stick with the two that I own, but, believe me, the temptation is real. Here’s why: They go with every outfit that I piece together in my wardrobe. Their silhouette is complete with features like a suede trim that make them appear more polished than other sneaker styles I’ve owned — not to mention they have a vast assortment of colors which makes them appeal to just about anyone’s style aesthetic. I’ve found the black to be more universal and sleek enough for in-office wear, while the mint green adds a light pop of color that complements most other casual ‘fits. Whether it’s baggy jeans and a tee, leggings and a sweatshirt, or a maxi skirt with a leather jacket, there’s no wrong way to style them. They do require a tiny bit of a break-in period and I’d advise investing in some non-slip no-show socks while you’re at it, but, other than that, they’re super practical and stylish for day-into-night wear. — Jasmin Sandal, Senior Commerce Editor

4. Adidas Gazelle

Jessica Seib

Alongside Sambas, Adidas’ Gazelles have been an it-shoe for a few seasons now. The shoe’s revival design, seen here, features a sturdy, nimble build that’s meant for indoor soccer but also works great for skating, hitting the gym, or happy hour. They’re great in any colorway, but I can’t stop buying bright Gazelles; blue, green, and red are favorites. — Oscar Hartzog, Commerce Editor

I love having Gazelles in my rotation. They’ve recently released several fun colors that help break up the mundane pallete in my shoe wardrobe. — Jessica Seib, VP Commerce

5. Adidas AE1 Basketball Shoes

Oscar Hartzog

Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards recently launched his first shoe with Adidas, the AE1. They feature a wavy herringbone pattern outsole that offers an insane amount of grip, and the overall feel is very lightweight yet sturdy. Wearing the AE1s, you can appreciate how Ant might use them to throw down huge posterization dunks but, for non-super-human hoopers like me, they’re also just an easy way to up your game. — Oscar Hartzog, Commerce Editor

6. Adidas Stan Smith

Morgan Greenwald

The Stan Smith is one of Adidas’ most popular shoes, and it’s not hard to see why: On top of being a sleek neutral sneaker that pairs with just about any outfit, the shoe also provides lasting comfort for a full day of wear. I own three different pairs of Stan Smiths, and they’ve become a must-pack for my Europe vacations and music festival trips; admittedly, the simplistic shoes don’t offer much in the way of arch support for flat-footed soles like me, but Dr. Scholl’s inserts have provided relief when I’ve worn them on walking tours and at amusement parks. — Morgan Greenwald, Senior SEO Manager
